WANA (Dec 12) – Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iranian Foreign Minister, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, held a phone conversation this morning, Thursday, to discuss regional developments, with a particular focus on the situation in Syria and topics of mutual interest.

 

During the discussion, both sides emphasized the necessity of serious efforts and action to halt Israeli attacks on Syria’s infrastructure and prevent further occupation of its territories.

 

The conversation also addressed the continuation of bilateral and multilateral consultations regarding developments in Syria, with the aim of contributing to stability and the establishment of an inclusive political system reflecting the will of the Syrian people.
